TULIUM @Campus Charlottenburg<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

TULIUM is a joint project of TU Berlin and the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district aimed at linking the university and the city in terms of content and programming, and opening up the campus more to the surrounding urban space.<\/p>\n

Through \u201cpaths of knowledge,\u201d visitors can explore the campus independently, both physically and digitally. Collections, monuments, buildings, and current research topics become tangible and accessible. Here, dialogue between science, art, and society can take place. TULIUM is an innovative communication and exhibition space, a venue for diverse forms of exchange. Based on an integrative exhibition concept, opportunities for dialogue are created\u2014on the one hand through the objects in the TU Berlin\u2019s Mineralogical Collection and, on the other, through curated, thematically rotating installations, performances, and events.<\/p>\n

The vision is to transform the campus into an openly accessible venue for experiential learning and teaching, and to make it a place that interested visitors of all ages\u2014including city travelers, educational travelers, science tourists, and the TU and UdK communities\u2014can experience in the future. Climate protection and climate adaptation are made possible through extensive green roofing and intensive rainwater management as part of the strategic project ClimateHOOD_CampusPARK Charlottenburg<\/a>. The new building on the TU Berlin campus also serves as a living laboratory for planning and construction within planetary boundaries<\/a> and embodies a circular building concept that closes material loops and almost entirely avoids (construction) waste. Construction of the project, funded by GRW, is scheduled for completion in 2026\/2027.<\/p>\n<\/div>
