Reallabs in Kienbergpark and Park am Gleisdreieck<\/h1>\n<\/div>

New participation format starts in February & March 2021.<\/p>\n

Under the motto “Making parks even more liveable together”, the first “Reallabor” will start in Kienbergpark on Tuesday, 23 February 2021. The new participation format takes place within the framework of the GartenLeistungen project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The aim of the research network, led by the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (I\u00d6W)<\/a>, is to record what parks do as an ecosystem and to generate knowledge for sustainable land use in cities.<\/p>\n

In the first quarter of the year, Gr\u00fcn Berlin is holding the first workshops in Kienbergpark and Park am Gleisdreieck as part of the Reallabore. Together, the participants will develop hands-on activities in the areas of “nature conservation and observation as well as healthy and local nutrition” (Kienbergpark) and “increasing pressure of use as well as the effects of climate change” (Gleisdreieck).<\/p>\n

The real labs are accompanied by project partnerships from the scientific community.<\/p>\n

Due to the pandemic, the first two workshops will take place in digital form. Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited to 50.<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 17.00 to 20.00 hrs<\/p>\n
