Harvest Time at Ernst-Reuter Platz<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The PopFarm\u2014a mobile, modular, hydroponic vertical farm\u2014is set up right in the middle of Ernst-Reuter-Platz this year. As part of the \u201cEdible Campus\u201d real-world laboratory, we\u2019re operating the PopFarm together with the team from Bauhaus Reuse<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ultra-local food production is an active form of climate protection, contributes to environmental education, and not only cools the microclimate of the open space but can even insulate buildings.<\/p>\n

The harvest is used directly on site and further processed by our \u201cReallabor\u201d partner, the Department of Education for Sustainable Nutrition and Food Sciences<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The PopFarm is part of ClimateHOOD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
