Enact Climate Adaptation as a Joint Responsibility in the Basic Law!<\/strong><\/p>\n

StadtManufaktur Berlin is actively involved in the Alliance for Water-Conscious Urban Development<\/a>, initiated and coordinated by the DWA \u2013 German Association for Water, Wastewater, and Waste<\/a>. The cross-institutional demand in the joint position paper<\/a> reads: \u201cClimate adaptation must be enshrined in the Basic Law as a joint responsibility under Article 91a,\u201d demand members of the Alliance \u201cTogether for Water-Conscious Urban Development\u201d in their latest position paper. \u201cThis would establish regulated and coordinated cooperation between the federal government, the states, and local authorities and ensure the necessary funding.\u201d<\/p>\n
