Living the Forest Lab – Opening of the Tech Tales Exhibition<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
Tech Tales brings scientific topics to life through artistic installations and interactive elements, thereby promoting environmental awareness and science education. The exhibition aims to highlight the importance of forests for biodiversity, climate regulation, and climate change mitigation. At the same time, it underscores the need to explore alternative models of understanding\u2014ones that recognize the agency of plants, animals, and machines\u2014and demonstrates how these can contribute to more relational and reciprocal forms of technological development.<\/p>\n
The immersive space invites visitors to reflect on and discuss future scenarios and to explore ways to shape them in a just and sustainable manner. The exhibition was developed and implemented at TU Berlin as a contribution to innovative science communication.<\/p>\n
TechTales is a collaboration between the \u201cReallabor Wald\u201d research project of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Communications Engineering Division)<\/a>, the Master\u2019s program in Stage Design and Scenic Space<\/a>, and the Science and Society Office<\/a> of the TU Berlin Presidency. The \u201cReallabor Wald\u201d project is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education and focuses on the topics of knowledge transfer and wildfire prevention.<\/p>\n he exhibition will be presented at UNI_VERSUM in the main building of TU Berlin and is part of Berlin Science Week 2025<\/a>. UNI_VERSUM is currently in the pilot phase of the TULIUM<\/a> project, a new outreach and exhibition building on the TU campus that is currently under construction.
