Living Lab
Inter-Municipal Promotion of Bicycle Travel
Collaborative Project
The NUDAFA research consortium—a living laboratory for promoting intermunicipal cycling—aims to strengthen (everyday) cycling in this predominantly suburban region in collaboration with the participating partner municipalities, their respective administrations, and civil society actors.
In order to derive scientific insights and transferable recommendations for action, the potential benefits and limitations of integrating data processing methods into planning and communication processes will be critically examined. At the same time, formats for intermunicipal cooperation will be initiated, tested, and evaluated. To better understand what hinders the implementation of municipal cycling promotion in day-to-day administrative work, smaller, more everyday measures will also be initiated and implemented as a complementary effort.
