Gardens and parks provide a variety of services for city dwellers: They cool the urban climate, purify the air, provide habitats for plants and animals and recreational spaces for the people who live and work in the city. In order to make the value of these areas for sustainable urban development more tangible, the GartenLeistungen project has recorded and evaluated these diverse effects with numerous partners from science, administration and practice. The project's conference took place on 13 May and the final publication is now available - be sure to take a look!
