The StadtManufaktur at TU Berlin will be participating in this year’s C2C Congress—the world’s largest platform for Cradle to Cradle and the circular economy since 2014. In 2025, the event will once again bring together around 1,000 participants and over 80 speakers from business, politics, academia, and civil society. Look forward to exciting discussions, best practices, and fresh insights into how Cradle to Cradle is being implemented in various sectors and what it takes to achieve a true circular economy.

Green Week: StadtManufaktur’s Real-World Labs at the BMUV Booth

We will be presenting our climate adaptation projects—ClimateHOOD, GartenLeistungen, ROOF WATER-FARM, and the startup HydroTower—at Green Week 2025. On January 17 and 21, these initiatives will be showcased at the booth of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV) with exhibits and a stage program. Come visit us at the booth and join us for the stage program between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.!

PartWiss 24 will take place in Berlin from December 4 to 6, 2024. On the pre-conference day, Wednesday, December 4, some of the interactive workshops, a panel discussion on the current state of transdisciplinary and participatory research, and the general meeting of the Society for Transdisciplinary and Participatory Research (GTPF) will take place. The networking evening will provide an opportunity for further discussion and networking.

First Edible Campus Dinner @ Bauhaus Reuse

To wrap up the Water, Nutrients, and Sanitation Conference at the Architecture Forum of TU Berlin, we hosted our first “Edible Campus Dinner.” Basil pesto straight from PopFarm, prepared locally and enjoyed together on Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Served with fresh bread, homemade in the teaching kitchen of the BNErLe department—Education for Sustainable Nutrition and Food Science. Thank you to everyone—it was simply delicious and wonderful to dine together like this!
