On March 19, 2024, StadtManufaktur, part of the Science & Society Unit, will host a “Walk & Talk” campus tour from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with key representatives from the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUV) and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA). As part of the annual conference of both institutions at BHROX on Ernst-Reuter-Platz, we will showcase current project components and sites of blue-green infrastructure development as part of the strategic cooperation project with the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, ClimateHOOD_CampusPark_Charlottenburg

Together, we would like to discuss concrete measures on campus and in the surrounding neighborhood focused on productive and circular open-space design and sponge city concepts. We will showcase StadtManufaktur’s real-world laboratories—such as the “edible campus” initiative and digital participation tools and formats currently under development—designed to foster broad participation by the urban community in the areas of blue-green climate adaptation and natural climate protection.
