It is organized by the Co-Site project at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the Network of Real-World Laboratories for Sustainability and will take place September 16–17, 2026, on the Leverkusen campus. The Teufelsberg Talks on the topic of “real-world labs” will take place on January 22. We are looking for TU members who are involved in real-world labs, are implementing their research projects in the city, and see Teufelsberg as an interesting partner for collaboration.
During the 2025–2026 winter semester, two courses related to climate resilience and water management will be offered on the TU campus. The Department of Vegetation Engineering and Plant Utilization and the Department of Landscape Architecture and Construction are offering these courses. We are excited about this collaboration and transformative teaching in the context of campus development and Sponge City Berlin!

TechTales brings scientific topics to life through artistic installations and interactive elements, thereby promoting environmental awareness and science education. The exhibition aims to highlight the importance of forests for biodiversity, climate regulation, and climate change mitigation, and opens as part of Science Week.
The Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Berlin), the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, and the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) are looking for ideas that will transform Berlin: The “100m Future” initiative aims to create a real-world lab. Innovations are to be made visible in public spaces. The IHK will support the implementation of urban innovations selected as part of the challenge. Join us!
