Conference on Water-Conscious Urban Development
Together with the DWA, we invite you to attend the conference in Osnabrück! Many real-world laboratories are focusing on topics related to water-conscious urban development. Transdisciplinary approaches and strategies for climate protection and climate adaptation are being tested, developed, and established. The conference will highlight the diverse pathways to implementing water-conscious urban development. Join us!
Summerfest of „Radbahn“
A day of activities for young and old on the topic of urban nature—the Radbahn invites you on September 9, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.! It will be a colorful day for young and old alike, in cooperation with StadtManufaktur. You can explore the test site, see and build rainwater retention beds, learn about the importance and composition of urban soils, and get hands-on with experiments. It’s going to be a festive event!
Berlin-Mitte Environment and Climate Award 2023
There’s great news from the GartenLeistungen II Real-World Lab! The collaboration “Mobile Blue-Green Infrastructure – Schools Take Action for the Climate!” has been recognized. On June 14, 2023, the Max Planck Gymnasium, along with its team of students from the advanced biology course, won the 2023 Berlin-Mitte Environment and Climate Award—Special Prize for Sustainable Schoolyard Design.
