Registration Now Open – Real-World Lab Conference 2026
The network conference will once again provide a forum for practical exchange, reflection, and collegial discourse in 2026. It is organized by the Co-Site project at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the Network of Real-World Laboratories for Sustainability and will take place September 16–17, 2026, on the Leverkusen campus. Registration is now open.

Climate Protection Award for IWIQ and U-Space – Congratulations!
On May 5, 2026, this year’s Climate Protection Partners of the Year were honored as part of the Berlin Energy Days. The competition is one of the most established awards in Berlin’s business community and has been bringing together stakeholders from business, trade, academia, and government for 25 years. This year, the award was presented to two Berlin real-world labs. Congratulations!
CALL – PartWiss 2026
PartWiss 26 invites participants to explore unconventional approaches to knowledge production together. The focus is on the annual theme “Spaces and Resources for Participatory and Transdisciplinary Research”: a call for collaborative learning, for taking a stance on complex societal challenges, and for developing new perspectives on jointly shaping spaces for action between science and society as well as between theory and practice.
