CALL! World Wide Lab Conference – Urban Transformation
The conference’s theme is “Urban Transformation,” and it aims to connect “Urban Sustainability Labs” worldwide with one another and with research approaches on relevant topics. The conference will take place from October 15 to 17, 2025, in Karlsruhe. Designed as a “learning conference,” the event emphasizes the need for dialogue and collaboration among academia, practitioners, civil society, and citizens. It aims to inspire new ideas, stimulate innovation, and support the joint development of solutions to the pressing challenges facing cities worldwide.
Information Evening on Building Type “E”
Building Type E (whether “simple” or “experimental”) aims to drive innovation in construction and regulation. On April 18, there will be a public discussion on Building Type E, with a look ahead to its practical implementation!
CALL – Real-World Lab Conference 2026
The network conference will once again provide a space for practical exchange, reflection, and collegial discourse in 2026. It is organized by the Co-Site project at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the Network of Real-World Laboratories for Sustainability and will take place September 16–17, 2026, on the Leverkusen campus.
